Became Wisdom for Us (1 Corinthians 1:30)

1 Corinthians 1:30 (NKJV)

30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—

God is everything that we need Him to be to us, in the times when things just don’t make sense Jesus became wisdom for us.

When we fall short, He is also righteousness for us, sanctification and Jesus became redemption for us.

Wherever we feel that we are falling short today Christ Jesus makes up the difference for us and gives us the grace to live a sanctified life for Him.

We don’t need to be perfect we just need to be His people and the sheep of His pasture (Psalm 100:3)

God sees our efforts and knows our limitations and our weaknesses, yet He still entrusts us with His purpose remaining with us every step of the way.

There is great strength in being weak before the Lord. There is a genuine humility that is birthed out of our weaknesses.

Simply MichMich

There is great strength in being weak before the Lord. There is a genuine humility that is birthed out of our weaknesses.

It is that humility that places us in the position to receive what we need from God. Not because we got everything right, but we were real and honest with God relying on His Son alone and what He achieved on the cross.

God has wrapped up His wisdom in His Son and then gave His Son to us.

In Matthew 12:42 Jesus informs the listeners that “…one greater than Solomon is here…”

People came from far and wide to hear the wisdom of Solomon who was spoken of by God as there has not been anyone like him before nor shall any like him arise after him (1 Kings 3:12).

King Jesus isn’t ‘like’ King Solomon He is greater than King Solomon and we are covenanted with this Great King of kings and the Lord of lords Christ Jesus in His blood given as a sacrifice for us.

We have access to the source of all wisdom and we find this wisdom through Christ Jesus, this is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit

It was pleasing to God that Jesus should become wisdom for us along with righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.

This stops us from being the kind of people that holds ourselves and others to ransom for falling short and not having all the answers.

This also gives us leverage beyond our own abilities, we may not know all things but we know the God that does.

Be blessed this week as you navigate this ‘new normal’ life in the end times, may Christ Jesus manifest within you the wisdom that you need along with His righteousness, sanctification, and His redemption.

This is God’s word spoken in love. Remember The LORD our God, He is good and His mercies endure forever. May the blessings of the LORD overtake you and come upon you and His love surround you, for His glory. Have a blessed week. In Jesus Name.

Be a blessing and share this with someone who needs to hear this today.
