Hold Fast That Word (1 Corinthians 15:1-2)
1 Corinthians 15:1-2 (NKJV)
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
The word of God is not like a fleeting conversation quickly and easily forgotten. The Word of God is alive, it is powerful, it is sharp, and it is active (Hebrews 4:12); the word of God transforms and is eternal (Luke 21:33).
This is something special, we have been blessed with the good news of what Jesus has done for us on the cross.
The more the world continues to change and grow darker, the more the good news of Jesus Christ continues to illuminate, comfort, empower and transform us.
This is because there is a demarcation being established, a line in the sand so to speak; either hold fast to the world or hold fast to the Word of God which is Christ Jesus.
You have a blessed assurance in Christ Jesus; God has a track record of making a way out of no way (Isaiah 43:16-19). It is an exciting time for the people of God because it is in darkness that our light shines.
Hold fast that word of hope that encouraged you, hold fast that word of peace settled your anxieties, hold fast that word that healed your brokenness, we believed before and we continue to believe now. Hold fast that word that was preached to you.
Let us raise up and see what God is saying to us, let us continue to learn how to operate in His Kingdom on the earth…really, really operate.
Receive a download from heaven that aligns with the word of God by the Holy Spirit living within us, open our mouths and decree and declare that thing and see it established in the earth.
Let us not back down to sit with the world and recite the woes of this age, but to walk in the hope and the light of Christ, to operate spiritually in Jesus name as legitimate children of God who have a legal right to walk and operate in the spirit.
This week let’s make a point to spend time with the Lord just dwelling in His presence, worshiping, praying for Him to draw us closer just because He is God. Out of this quality time comes a beautiful relationship where secret things are shared, things that are going to matter in these end-times. Hold fast that word.
This is God’s word spoken in love. Remember The LORD our God, He is good and His mercies endure forever. May the blessings of the LORD overtake you and come upon you and His love surround you, for His glory. Have a blessed week. In Jesus Name.
Be a blessing and share this with someone who needs to hear this today.
