20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.

Have you ever expected God to show up in a major way only to experience that He blessed you in a completely different way?
Upon reflection it was just as awesome if not more, however, you didn’t see it coming even if you had x-ray vision.
I guess John the Baptist was expecting the deliverance of his people to look a little different than how Jesus went about things. None the less the power of God was just as powerful.
We have the opportunity to demonstrate our faith that even though we may not understand everything that is happening or we have our own idea of what a blessing from God looks like, we look for no other because we know and are convinced that God is our Healer.
To centre us in our prayers for this week let’s demonstrate our faith in God by coming back to Him again and again because we know that He alone is our God and our Healing is found in Him.
Our blessing may not come in the package that we imagined but Jesus heals by the almighty power of God the Father revealed by the activity of the Holy Spirit.
This is God’s word spoken in love. Remember The LORD our God, He is good and His mercies endure forever. May the blessings of the LORD overtake you and come upon you and His love surround you, for His glory. Have a blessed week. In Jesus Name.
