Perfect Peace (Isaiah 26:3)
Isaiah 26:3
3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
There are two main themes that go together here, that is ‘peace’ and ‘trust’, here’s the thing, it is very difficult to trust somebody that you don’t know. Even God who created the universe.
So how do you get to know God? God’s scripture points us in the right direction, when we keep our mind on God; search for Him in His word, spend time talking with Him in prayer, include Him in our everyday lives, go through some things with Him over time, a relationship is formed.
You’ll learn how He talks to you through the things, people and situations in your life, over time. He walks with you through troubles and triumphs, you establish trust because you get to know Him.
There are many things in this world vying for our attention, the key is not to walk in ignorance or denial but to acknowledge God in spite of what we face.
This is where perfect peace is born, it is full and complete, this kind of peace is not moved, we’ve learned over time not to vacillate back and forth between two opinions.
We have believed the report of the Lord and now we are remaining in the Lord’s hands until we see the manifestation of that word.
As we talk to Jesus and spend time in His presence, we really begin to see things from God’s perspective, and this brings us into a state of peace.
The question is do we give Him that space in our lives to really be God? Are we really desiring to want this life with God every step of the way?
This week as we approach our busy schedules let’s make time to reach out to Jesus our Prince of Peace with a desire for that peace that only comes from Him.
If we are honest and ask God to help us to desire the godly peaceful presence that comes from Him, He will not withhold His goodness.
This is God’s word spoken in love. Remember The LORD our God, He is good and His mercies endure forever. May the blessings of the LORD overtake you and come upon you and His love surround you, for His glory. Have a blessed week. In Jesus Name.
Be a blessing and share this with someone who needs to hear this today.
