Encouraging Bible Verses – Turning to God (Lamentations 5:21)
My encouragement to you . . .
God never turns away from us, especially when we go through difficult times in our lives. God calls us into His presence to receive the refreshing that we need to make it through to the other side of our troubles.
Sometimes, in the brokenness of our heart we might draw back from God, but with tender mercy and loving kindness His patient love remains. Quiet, constant and faithful He is right there with you and He is always there for you.
Be encouraged, the assault on our faith may seem relentless, but it is not more relentless than Jesus Himself! He is the one that turns us back to Himself when our hearts have been broken by life in this world. Even if He has to die on the cross to do it, God will always turn us back to Himself, to restore us, refresh us, and renew us.
The Bible says in:
Lamentations 5:21 (KJV)
21 Turn thou us unto thee, O Lord, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
