Faith and Hope are in God (1 Peter 1:20-21)

My encouragement to you . . .

Ensure that your faith and hope rest in who God is and not what you want Him to do for you. 

God is Faithful, Holy, Kind, Good, Beautiful, Love, Authority, Generous … and we could keep on going.

This is what we can believe God for in our situations, we trust God to be exactly who He is.

God also has a plan and a purpose for which you were born into the earth at this particular time, just like Jesus.

Even though Jesus was always existing as the Son of God, before the world was created, He was not brought into the view of mankind until the ‘last times’ as the bible calls it. 

This was done for the sake of us who believe God through Jesus because we saw that Jesus was raised from the dead and glorified by God. 

So that our hope and our faith are in God, as we fully receive the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus the Son of the living God.

Be encouraged, we have access to God because of Jesus and what He accomplished on the cross. 

We can hope and have faith in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, we’ve seen His work, we know He can do the impossible. 

The Bible says in:

1 Peter 1:20-21 (ESV)

²⁰ He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you ²¹ who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Be blessed by these words of encouragement from the bible.
