Peace Through the Blood (Colossians 1:20)

My encouragement to you . . .

The method of Jesus’ sacrifice was in no way peaceful but the fruit of what He did made way for a supernatural peace to come to everyone that believes and trusts in Him. 

The reason for the peace is the shedding of His blood on our behalf, God responds to the blood, there is peace in the forgiving love of God. 

Even destructive things with an agenda to eternally harm us respond to the blood.  

Be encouraged, God sees the blood and reminds Himself that He has judged our sin already on the cross and has received just payment. As a result God is at peace with us and in turn, we are at peace with God, if we chose to receive it. 

The enemy sees the blood and has no answer for it and has no choice but to pass over, leaving us in our peace with God. 

The Bible says in:

Colossians 1:20 (NKJV)

20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
