God Has You Surrounded on Every Side (Zechariah 2:5)

⁵ For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Zechariah 2:5 (KJV)

When we are faced with a difficult decision or the sadness of loss or the pressure of the responsibilities of life, it is very easy to feel surrounded; hemmed in unable to see past the situation in which we find ourselves. 

God has given us a very powerful promise for here and now, and also for the future. God has promised His people that He will be a fire wall of protection surrounding us and also He will be the glory within the midst of us. 

God will protect from the outside and He will enrich, empower, heal, provide and comfort from the inside. God has got you covered! 

There are some things that we are not going to be immediately delivered from, we are going to have to go through them and be processed over time. However, because the Lord Almighty is with us, the outcome can only be for good and not the destruction that the world expects. 

God is so vast that he surrounds the thing that threatens to surround us, in 2 Kings 6:16 the man of God reassures his servant saying “…for they that be with us are more than they that be with them”. 

It will all work together for your good, God is in control!

This week, we stand in the truth of God, He surrounds us and He will bring us through whatever we face. Let’s give thanks to Him, it may not look like it but things are working for your good, until then, God has you surrounded on every side. 

This is God’s word spoken in love. Remember The LORD our God, He is good and His mercies endure forever. May the blessings of the LORD overtake you and come upon you and His love surround you, for His glory. Have a blessed week. In Jesus Name.
