Proclaim the Praises of Him (1 Peter 2:9)

1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Tell forth the goodness of God, He is the one that brought us out of darkness. As He put darkness to flight His light came in as He commanded it. 

God’s light came forth before He created the sun and the moon to rule the day and the night. 

We come into the marvellous light of God when we are saved, we have an illumination and an insight that only comes from Jesus. 

He gives us inside information that only the God that created the entire universe could know. 

No wonder we are called a peculiar people (God’s own special people) we are working with something different. 

We are a royal priesthood serving God and His people, we are a holy nation chosen by God. It is not the time to hide away, we must proclaim His goodness with our very lives.

It was never about us it was always about Him. When we make a decision in our hearts that we are going to dedicate all to God and excel because we bring glory to Him. That’s when things get exciting.

Let’s live to proclaim the praises of Him who brought us out of darkness, we now walk in His marvellous light. 

This week let’s give thanks and speak well of our God who did not leave us in darkness but took us out and made us a people of light. Let’s give God the glory and let Him be exalted. 

This is God’s word spoken in love. Remember The LORD our God, He is good and His mercies endure forever. May the blessings of the LORD overtake you and come upon you and His love surround you, for His glory. Have a blessed week. In Jesus Name.
