Devotional Rule in Your Hearts Colossians 3:15

Rule in Your Hearts (Colossians 3:15)

Colossians 3:15

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

What are we allowing to rule in our hearts? Is it our thoughts? Our fears? Our ambitions? Or is it the peace of God?

God is leading us in His word to allow the peace of God take mastery in our hearts. Go with what will bring you the peace of God, make decisions that will protect the peace of God in your heart.

What does that look like to you? To some it might mean forgiving and praying for that person that we find difficult.

To others it might mean not taking that job that requires more of you than it is wise to give in this season of your life.

Whatever this looks like to you, the peace of God is right here and can only benefit you, not harm or hinder you.

To others it simply may mean getting up an hour earlier to spend time in the presence of the Lord.

Whatever this looks like to you, the peace of God is right here and can only benefit you, not harm or hinder you.

Allowing the peace of God to rule in your heart frees you up from the stress that comes from vengeance, backbiting and excessive busyness to name a few.

When there is a real desire to see God’s will carried out in our lives, we move into that place of allowing His peace to take over

All of a sudden being right and having the final say is not as important as it once was, God has the final say. 💖🤗🙏🏾 #Devo #Jesus #GodIsLove #PeaceOfGod #SimplyMichMich Click To Tweet

All of a sudden being right and having the final say is not as important as it once was, God has the final say.

We can trust God to right whatever wrong has taken place, and when you experience the sweetness of this phenomenon, you relax more and let God take control.

This week let’s ask God to help us to let go and relax in Him, to help us to trust Him and to allow His peace to rule in our hearts, help us to surrender to God.

This is God’s word spoken in love. Remember The LORD our God, He is good and His mercies endure forever. May the blessings of the LORD overtake you and come upon you and His love surround you, for His glory. Have a blessed week. In Jesus Name.

Be a blessing and share this with someone who needs to hear this today.

Take Care x
