13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”

In times of great need, be encouraged that God has sent the answer just in time to meet you at your appointed time.
Once Abraham had positioned his heart to sacrifice his promised and precious son to God (confident that He would bring him back to life), God intervened and spoke to Abraham. This encounter changed everything! On the word of the Lord Abraham was able to lift his eyes and see the provision God had sent him.
It is encouraging to think that the ram was traveling to the same spot as Abraham, it was just ‘behind’ Abraham the whole time. So, the question that I ask you is what has been travelling behind you all this time? What appears to be insignificant or lesser than or more work than it appears to be worth?

In your moment of need, don’t hold back from God, be prepared to sacrifice! For some it is time, for some it may be finances, for some it may be comfort. Once your heart is authentically ready to come out of your comfort zone, lift your eyes to God, hear from Him and get a clear vision from His perspective of the situation.
God will show you that He is Jehovah Jireh your provider. God will provide for you but! Make sure you position your heart to hear Him.
As we prepare for our week ahead I encourage you to ask God to show you what He has sent behind you. Take some time to worship and draw close to God, ask Him to give you the mind of Christ and open your eyes to see things from a Godly perspective. Maybe your requirements may change after your encounter with God, maybe the answer has been there the whole time, tied up waiting for you to lose it.
This is God’s word spoken in love. Remember The LORD our God, He is good and His mercies endure forever. May the blessings of the LORD overtake you and come upon you and His love surround you, for His glory. Have a blessed week. In Jesus Name.
